Unprofessional, poor quality and terrible service.
We were told the Alu Décor team would arrive on Monday, I arranged for someone to be there on the agreed Monday, Alu-décor didn’t pitch. I messaged to follow up and then was told that they would be there the next day. This continued for a few days and eventually they pitched to drop off some of the windows, without an installation team. The Installation team arrived the following week without all the necessary tools to complete their tasks. The bathroom window arrived, and it was clear and not frosted. The window was not soundproof as per our approved quote and we were told only once they stared installing that they cannot provide a soundproof window for the aluminum frame we chose, so we had to settle for a laminated safety glass. The team was aware that a bathroom window would need to be frosted, instead of taking it back immediately before removing the original window. They decided to install the clear window. It then got removed and sent back. When it came back it was frosted, but the bathroom window size was incorrect. All the windows were installed poorly. If any pressure was placed on the window, the window would move. This was mentioned to the company, and we were told: “Hi Mam. I'll call *** in the Morning. We did not quote on plastering. It says so clearly on the quote. We will make sure installation from our side is perfect. You don't have to worry about that.” We are aware that plastering was not included but the quality of work and the fact that they removed the bricks and did not put them back was an issue on our side. On another note, I as a woman feel that if I am handling this project, you can speak to me and not my husband. This is unprofessional and ***ist. If we as clients felt like the installation would be perfect, we would not be messaging and following up daily. Our sliding door took a while to arrive, when it did arrive the team installed it without a lock or a door handle. They sent it back, but when it was returned it still did not lock. In South Africa installing a door that does not lock is a high risk. However, Alu Décor did not think it was an issue. The team installed the sliding door the wrong way, with a lip at the bottom after we had communicated with the sales guy that we wanted it flush on the floor. The installation is done badly as there are 2 holes for one lock. Therefore, Alu Décor provided terrible service, poor quality work and are unprofessional. They lack in business management, time-management, and communication skills.

Hire him at your own risk.
Chris approached us 2021 to install for our house. In January 2022 we signed contract. 7 months later we still don’t have our house complete. We paid 90% as per contract. We still have areas open. He has even installed cracked glass for us. We had to extend leasing contract because of him. We are staying in an incomplete house with 3 children 10 years old and 6 years old and 6 months old. The health risk we are in. The house is cold. The is so many openings . I can go on and on about the sloppy and disgusting service we have received from them. Hire him at your own risk.

Chris was amazing and his team were efficient and a pleasure to deal with. There pricing was super competitive and I’m glad we chose Alu decor to install all our sliding doors for my new house

Al-decor disaster
Was so excited to replace wall for alu doors. That's where it stopped. A comedy of errors and arrogance from start to finish. The owner took the wrong measurements, sent the crew to site with no brief or proper equipment, multiple installations and reinstallarions. First night the one door panel fell out on my 5 year old. Now every time it rains my house gets flooded. Whenever you speak to anyone...all toads lead to owner. Owner have stories for days. Sorry Chris. Enough is enough.

Owner took measurements, were all wrong. Windows and doors had to be shortened, lengthened, glass had to be replaced. Workmanship shoddy beyond belief. First night of installation the door fell out on my 5 year old child. After sales service desirable. Every time it rains my house gets flooded The owner always a story.

Don’t even consider
<div>Horrible Horrible Horrible workmanship. I had multiple stack doors and doors done. They came out 14 times and I eventually declined them to come back as each time they made it worse with more excuses. Today my doors are falling off, hinges breaking, locks still don’t work, pulling out of the brickwork it’s the worst contractor ever. </div>
