Alva / takealot ****

After buying an Alva 16l water heater and setting it up, i sent it back to takealot.

The Alva staff lie and say the device can work with a mixer, but on the website it says it doesn't work with a mixer, so then the water is too hot.

They packed it incorrectly and sent it back to me,and said i should send it back, then refused to take it back.

It seems like the solenoid doesn't kick in all the time to let the gas flow, which it didn't do before sending it in. 

Alva now says it doesnt have a warranty and they wont let me bring it to check it out.

The device has water in and out, gas in and a battery.... Very little you as a user can mess with.

A COC is to protect your property not protect a company from selling cheap junk. 

Probably better to order it directly from China and save money. Maybe its time to support Amazon instead.
