This is a **** ! Leeroy came to assess my coffee machine and said he needs to take it to bis workshop to completely diagnose what's wrong then quoted me on how much it would cost to repair. When I decided that its not worth the money, he became sour and now refuses to return my machine. I have to call him on a daily basis but there is no response. He essentially stole my machine. Please stay away from this clown.

Do not trust this business. Leeroy came to assess my coffee machine for repair and advised that he would need to take it with him for further inspection. He then quoted over R4k to replace the brewing unit. I researched the part, and found that I could purchase it for R1,5k and it was literally an entire unit that just slots in, no dismantling required. We declined the quote and asked for him to return the machine. For two weeks he promised daily to bring the machine back, but never showed up. He then stopped taking my calls or answering my messages. When I then messaged him that I was going to open a theft case with the police, he responded : "I still at another client. I cnt leave a paying client and rush to you for a call out fee.. will bring the machine when im free.. otherwise you can come get it at our workshop.. if opening a theft case makes you feel better them go ahead and do it.. but im not leaving a paying client to attend to one that is not paying. I have responsibilities to take care of.." I had to arrange for an Uber to fetch my machine, at my cost, which he refused to release without me paying his call-out fee. When I finally got my machine back and put in the new brewing unit, it did not solve the problem. I did some research and then purchased a new Pin for the flow faucet for R170. I've just installed it and it works perfectly. So, Leeroy cost me: R1500 for a new brewing unit I did not need R300 call out fee R200 Uber =R2000 for a fix that only required a R170 part. Either he does not know his business, or he is a complete ****mer. I'm leaning towards the latter.

Please do not support Always Promp Repairs as they have a very dishonest work ethic. Leeroy insisted that payment must be secured for repairs before leaving the premises. However, upon realizing that the appliance is not working, this company is not interested in taking any responsibility. They are not prepared to assist, despite numerous requests and have not given any refund. There are numerous other similar complaints on social media. I suspect though, that they purposefully do not have Google / Facebook review options to try and curb bad reviews.
