No.1 worst agency to deal with. I am appalled by what they consider “service”. They were all friendly and polite initially to get you to purchase the property. Lying about certain aspects of the property working to get the deal. It even stated on the sellers disclosure that these things were in working order and once we established that they weren’t the agency did not assist at all, they tried to absolve themselves from the situation entirely and kept telling us to call the seller and deal with it. The agents also assured us that there were no structural damages at all and we took them at their word having thought that they had the experience they also told us we would have not gotten a bond if there were structural issues. We finally were able to get a building inspector in after registration as we were denied a building inspector during transfer process by the seller which was suspicious. The building inspector found structural damages to the property. I also messaged the agent once the attorneys lodged asking the agents who I will be meeting with to collect the keys and I did not receive a response. Once the property was registered the agents didn’t even have the decency to meet up with me to hand over the keys they tried to get the seller to give the keys to the attorneys. The seller was still cleaning and removing furniture on the day of registration and the agency was useless in assisting us with this situation. I was forced to go to the house and confront the seller to hand the keys over. Fortunately we were able to handle this amicably but it is disgusting that we had to go through this.

Unprofessional. Not transparent. Commission was not officially agreed yet deducted. Constant flow of potential ‘buyers’ who were not even looking in the area we lived. foot traffic? The advocates that were recommended were even worse than unprofessional. Forwarding private emails on to the ‘buyer’ in a clear conflict situation was ********* to say the least. Hind sight is a wonderful teacher.

We rented an apartment in Lyndhurst for just over 2 years until 2020. The owner returned to the country wanting to move back and we did not dispute that, unfortunately at the time of his request we went into lockdown. We managed to find a place end of May and we moved. Till today we are still waiting for the rest of our deposit even though the contract is clear that we should get the deposit back within 10 working days of vacating the premises. We moved out May 2020 till date the landlord still can't finish paying back the deposit. The agent said they will handle it but when I send emails to query about the refund she does not respond. I am extremely disappointed with this establishment especially because we really had a good relationship. The fact that they don't respond to my emails even though they told us to speak to them directly and not the landlord to sort this out. Its almost nine months and we still don't have the full deposit. Very unprofessional!!!!

We were made huge promises and defects not normally visible were brought to our attention by the agent and we were told that they would be repaired. This was only done do enter the defects into the sales agreement thereby allowing the seller to be absolved from having to repair the dampness issues. After spending money to get a third party to verify said repairs were done correctly, we were told by a very rude agent, that this sales agreement stated that we knew about dampness issues and no mention of it being repaired. My fault, should've asked for the sales agreement to state dampness issues to be repaired. They work with equally dubious lawyers as well who charge you for transferring of property but look for every excuse to protect the interests and profits of Amour Properties.....my advise.....if you see their board outside a place on show...RUN!!!
