Charged an entrance fee to walk to the restaurant

While the setting, food and atmosphere cannot be faulted at this venue, we were somewhat disappointed with the fact that we were charged R80 per person in order to get to the venue by walking through the sculpture park, a distance of about 600 meters. This might not seem like a lot but we were a table of 13 (6 of whom were children ranging in ages from 4-8 years of age) and so the additional R1040.00 expense was unexpected. We were not made aware of this cost when we made the reservation for the restaurant. Because it was a birthday celebration, it would have been embarrassing to cause a scene in front of our guests, so we paid the amount requested but it spoiled an otherwise lovely day.
