I advise people before taking any insurance on their cars do an investigation on the company you take it with, I was insured with discovery, Dot and lastly midway insurances, the reason for changing from the first two as a pensioner the premiums was a bit high then I took my car insurance with midway, I did have an accident and when I put in a claim, the staff was very efficient and kind but when it came to the claims department that is when the problems arose, I was told to fix my car the price will be about R26000 to R28000 but they wanted to write my car off and only pay me R40000.00, my car is a collectors item, before my car even went to miway I had already received mail from companies on WhatsApp that they would like to repair my car how did they know about my car I do not know, it was transported to their depot and it was quite a run around for my panel beater to release my car as my car is a collectors item eventually it was released and I was paid to repair R14300, I know my access is R5000 and if you minus the R5000 I should be left with about plus minus R21000 to R23000 and I was paid only R14316 and where did the other money go to, I did try to find out but got very evasive answers, I am doing a research now on the most progressive and honest company who will when your car is damaged the insurance gets it repaired and becomes covered and not taken on a wild goose chase or a rough ride

I am Charles Mutwanamba , had policy with Anderson Insurance underwriters and it happened that the company get liquidated while my claim was in process. I made several follow-ups in regard to my claim. Someone referred me to company called Faksen ,until now i have no solution that i got.
