To clarify, at the adjourned Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 3 December 2025, the owners voted and approved the appointment of the Executive Managing Agent (EMA) for the complex, effective immediately. This decision was made since not enough owners volunteered to serve as Trustees, as required by the Sectional Titles Schemes Management Act. The EMA assumes full responsibility for the fiduciary and decision-making roles previously handled by Trustees, and effectively directs ANGOR as the Managing Agent, not the other way round. The minutes of this meeting, which detail the discussions, votes, and resolutions, were finalized and distributed to all owners on 17 February 2026, following approval from the EMA. As part of the transition, ANGOR has been facilitating administrative support, but operational oversight and key decisions now fall under EMA’s purview. We have reviewed our records and confirm that we have not received any direct queries or complaints from you since the AGM regarding these matters. During the AGM itself, concerns about communication were raised in the general discussion, and we recommended copying our support team (
support@angor.co.za) on all correspondence to ensure prompt responses. If there are specific issues, such as the electricity cut-off or payment arrangements with the City of Johannesburg (we act on the authority and subsequent instruction of the Trustees to pay service providers), we advise directing them to the EMA, as they are now managing these aspects as the acting Trustees as part of their mandate. We appreciate your involvement in the complex and regret any inconvenience experienced during this transition period. If you have any outstanding administrative queries that ANGOR can assist with, please feel free to reach out directly to our support team.
