I am extremely disappointed with the service from ApartmentBox.
I vacated the apartment on 30 March 2026, and my total deposit was R13,304. I have now been informed that R4,800 will be deducted for “stained walls” — something I strongly dispute, as this falls under normal wear and tear and was never identified as damage.
I do acknowledge the R2,000 being held in line with the lease agreement, as well as the R130.11 for water usage in March.
However, the biggest issue is the complete lack of communication. I have sent multiple emails regarding my deposit refund and have received no response. To date, my deposit has still not been paid.
This experience has been frustrating and unprofessional. I would appreciate urgent feedback and resolution on this matter.
