Breach of Warranty and Poor Customer Service

My fiance's mother purchased a solar geyser in June 2011 and it was installed by Apollo themselves. The geyser came with a 5 year warranty against water tank leakage among other defects.<br> <br> In Nov 2015, well within the 5 year warranty period, we noticed that the water tank was leaking. We contacted Lydia from Apollo and informed her of the leak. She subsequently sent three workmen to dismantle and inspect the geyser and I was told that they would replace the geyser. About one week later, Jared from Apollo, sent an email informing us that we now have to pay R3,866.00 to replace the geyser as it cannot be repaired.<br> <br> After many frustrating phone calls the final response from Apollo was that we were misusing the geyser. How does one misuse a geyser?!?! The warranty clearly states that if the water tank leaks it is covered!<br> <br> This is horrific customer service from Apollo and I would never recommend their product. I am still waiting for Apollo to replace my geyser.
