WORST ONLINE ORDER EXPERIENCE
I tried ARB Electrical Wholesalers & this has to be - by far - one of the ABSOLUTE WORST online order experiences I have EVER had.
Context: On the 2nd February I placed an order (#83626) online & paid for 1 - 2 day delivery. On day 2 I realised that I hadn't received ANY INDICATION of when my delivery would happen, only to find an email from them indicating that the status of my order has changed & that it would now take 2 - 5 DAYS for delivery. Note that I had ALREADY PAID FOR EARLIER DELIVERY!! There was ZERO in the way of letting me know what would happen to the higher delivery payment, since I was basically going to be receiving my order as a standard delivery.
I emailed & was called back by one Tebogo who advised that the order had been delayed at the couriers, but that I would receive it ON THE 5TH FEBRUARY - which is today. And yet still zero communication regarding delivery. I stead, the order reads as under "manual processing" when I check their website.
To say I'm angry is an understatement. What an absolute waste of my time and money this has been & I will certainly not be patronising this business or recommending it to anyone who cares about good service (and not being *****ulently made to pay for delivery turnaround times that are just never adhered to).
Oh: I've called and emailed AGAIN & still nothing.

06 Feb 2026, 10:44Update: I got a call from Tebogo who indicated that my order was being loaded by the Gezina branch and would be delivered today (05/02/2026). I will await the delivery, since we confirmed that I am available to receive it.
Whole Tebogo has jumped onto the ball quickly, I would still not recommend this business - at least not for their online orders. Maybe try in-branch if you'd like to give them a chance.

We are genuinely sorry to read about your experience, as this is not the level of service we aim to deliver.We fully understand your frustration, particularly regarding the change in delivery timeframe after you had already paid for an expedited service. That should have been clearly communicated, along with immediate clarification about the delivery charge difference. The lack of proactive updates and the order reflecting “manual processing” without explanation understandably added to your dissatisfaction, and we apologise for that.While courier delays can occur, it remains our responsibility to ensure customers are kept informed and that expectations are managed properly. In this instance, our communication did not meet standard, and we acknowledge that. Our team will urgently investigate the delivery delay . We will also review what went wrong operationally to prevent this from happening again.We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and regret the inconvenience and stress this has caused you.
