I tried ARB Electrical Wholesalers & this has to be - by far - one of the ABSOLUTE WORST online order experiences I have EVER had. Context: On the 2nd February I placed an order (#83626) online & paid for 1 - 2 day delivery. On day 2 I realised that I hadn't received ANY INDICATION of when my delivery would happen, only to find an email from them indicating that the status of my order has changed & that it would now take 2 - 5 DAYS for delivery. Note that I had ALREADY PAID FOR EARLIER DELIVERY!! There was ZERO in the way of letting me know what would happen to the higher delivery payment, since I was basically going to be receiving my order as a standard delivery. I emailed & was called back by one Tebogo who advised that the order had been delayed at the couriers, but that I would receive it ON THE 5TH FEBRUARY - which is today. And yet still zero communication regarding delivery. I stead, the order reads as under "manual processing" when I check their website. To say I'm angry is an understatement. What an absolute waste of my time and money this has been & I will certainly not be patronising this business or recommending it to anyone who cares about good service (and not being *****ulently made to pay for delivery turnaround times that are just never adhered to). Oh: I've called and emailed AGAIN & still nothing.
I stumbled on GoGadgetSA via internet search & gave them a try...and boy am I glad I did! Top-tier service & their products are 100% legit. SERIOUSLY impressed & will be returning and spreading the word about them. Also: Nastassja is wonderful!
On the 5th of December, I received an email from Vodacom's Subscriber Collections department (re an arrear account), asking that I get back in touch with them to arrange payment. Which I did. On the 6th December. Cut to a week or so later - with zero response from Vodacom - and I get an SMS from TSL Legal, stating that I *must* pay THEM for the arrears account. No problem. I pay them on the 26th December & send proof of payment. Lo and behold, my line gets cut yesterday - zero explanation (remember that Vodacom never contacted me about that arrangement after I emailed Subscriber Collections back regarding same). I call TSL Legal earlier today (02/01/2024) & get told "Oops. It seems Vodacom has removed your account from us". I ask why I wasn't told & what's to happen with the money that I already paid. I get told that they'll pay it over to Vodacom, but I should go to my nearest Vodacom shop. I had no plans of leaving my house today, but I did exactly that & went to a Vodacom shop (Westgate Mall). The gentleman kindly assisted me with logging a service request to reinstate the number, but as of now, nothing's happened. So I've made payment, after Vodacom failed to contact me re an arrangement, but it turns out that the collections firm I paid over to, seems to no longer have my account on their books. My entire life is linked to this number. And zero word from Vodacom. I'm actually incensed, because I did what was asked of me & now I'm sitting without cellphone service.
Hi Team Naked, Just letting you know that even though I cancelled my insurance (cos I no longer own the vehicle in question), you're by far the best insurance experience I've had in many, MANY years. Keep up the great service!!
