Refuse to Refund Deposit

We hired a vehicle from Assa*** Car Hire in November 2022, which broke down the morning after collecting it. They did not have another vehicle to replace it with and promised to refund me the balance of 3 days car hire. To this day, I am still waiting for the refund of my car hire as well as the R3000 Deposit we paid.

They don't answer their phones or respond to emails, and even going in to their office to speak to them did not help. The owner is of no help either as he is ALWAYS out of the country.

The vehicles are in a disgusting state, and most of the time, aren't even licensed.
