I would have given NO STARS if it would allow. Absolute worst company to deal with. You cannot speak to anyone with regards to a query. I can't even use the Whatsapp line as it requires an OTP to continue and I am not receiving it. I have phoned numerous times to cancel my service, and I am told that someone will contact me. Still nothing.
We hired a vehicle from Assa*** Car Hire in November 2022, which broke down the morning after collecting it. They did not have another vehicle to replace it with and promised to refund me the balance of 3 days car hire. To this day, I am still waiting for the refund of my car hire as well as the R3000 Deposit we paid. They don't answer their phones or respond to emails, and even going in to their office to speak to them did not help. The owner is of no help either as he is ALWAYS out of the country. The vehicles are in a disgusting state, and most of the time, aren't even licensed.
The only reason this was given 1 star is because it wouldn't allow me to write this review otherwise. I am absolutely appalled at the way Fit24 Gym in Waterfall, KZN has handled the closing of their branch. The branch closed round about June/July 2022 without so much as a notice on the door to notify its members. My daughter and her boyfriend signed up for a twelve month contract in December 2021 that was to end late December 2022 / early January 2023. They paid upfront for the entire contract via the card machine. The gym has confirmed that they have located the manual contract that was completed but because there is no Merchant Copy of the card transaction attached, they claim that they did not pay. This is despite the fact that they have been given proof of the transaction coming off their bank account. The Bank statement description says FIT 24 GYMS Pinetown ZA. FIT 24 claim that they do not have a machine with that description and that they cannot find the funds in their bank account. Are these people serious...of course they are not going to find this amount in their bank account as the machine would have been banked with a number of transactions, and the reference number on his bank statement is also a reference number issued by his bank and NOT the recipient's bank account number! Surely if they did not pay, they would not have been issued with membership cards? FIT 24 Gym has told them that they will only refund them if they can provide the bank card slip as proof of payment. Even if my daughter still had the card slip, chances are that it would be illegible due to the thermal paper that it is printed on. The last correspondence from them was on the 1st September 2022. Now, I am no Lawyer, but surely taking money from someone and not providing the goods/service is considered THEFT!!!!
The most pathetic Service Provider I have ever dealt with. Cancelled my 2 contracts in July 2018 and paid the commitment amount for early cancellation. I received an email on the 13th August 2018 advising me that my query had been escalated to the Billing Department and someone would be in contact with me in 46 working hours...well I am still waiting. When I spoke to the Retentions Department on the 23rd August 2018 I was assured that my contracts had been cancelled and no further charges would be raised. Well he was wrong, because yesterday I received invoices for September 2018. I have just spent the last half an hour trying to get through to the Billing Department with absolutely no joy!
