******** Deductions from Deposit

I am extremely disappointed with the way Astrodon has handled my rental deposit refund. Despite fulfilling my obligations as a tenant, they have refused to pay back my deposit and instead ********ly deducted R15,000 for so-called "repairs" that clearly fall under normal wear and tear.

This conduct is unacceptable and goes against the Rental Housing Act, which clearly protects tenants against unfair and exploitative practices. It is evident that these deductions were made to enrich themselves at my expense.

Then I was forced to go with their contractor and when asked to refund my money This was the reply I got:

Unfortunately we cannot load any payments right now, as the finance department has left for the day. The lady loading payments will be on leave tomorrow, payment will be loaded on Monday.

Astrodon has failed to act transparently, fairly, and in good faith. I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this company, as they do not respect tenants’ rights or the law.

I will be pursuing this matter further with the Rental Housing Tribunal to ensure justice is served.
