I am extremely disappointed with the way Astrodon has handled my rental deposit refund. Despite fulfilling my obligations as a tenant, they have refused to pay back my deposit and instead ********ly deducted R15,000 for so-called "repairs" that clearly fall under normal wear and tear. This conduct is unacceptable and goes against the Rental Housing Act, which clearly protects tenants against unfair and exploitative practices. It is evident that these deductions were made to enrich themselves at my expense. Then I was forced to go with their contractor and when asked to refund my money This was the reply I got: Unfortunately we cannot load any payments right now, as the finance department has left for the day. The lady loading payments will be on leave tomorrow, payment will be loaded on Monday. Astrodon has failed to act transparently, fairly, and in good faith. I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this company, as they do not respect tenants’ rights or the law. I will be pursuing this matter further with the Rental Housing Tribunal to ensure justice is served.
I will not recommend this company to anyone. Their service is disgusting. when you phone you hold on for more than 30min to speak to an agent. I have received the router after a very long wait, where you have to install it yourself. The self installation does not work as the router keeps saying no internet access. When you call them they try to take you through the steps to self install. After telling them numerous times that it does not work, then they promise to send a technician and this also does not happen. No one seems to help. but you will receive 20 emails with the invoice that needs to be paid even though your fibre is not working and no one is helping
