Incompetent service delivery

Since buying my Audi Q3 I complained that the back flap keeps hooking off and rolling up. Every time it was mentioned at the services and other software updates. Was always said to be nothing. Now that the brackets broke off and will cost R7000 to fix now it's said it does not fall under the warranty. Why then for three years tell lies that nothing is wrong or nothing can be done?
