RE: HELLO PETER COMPLAINT 31 MARCH 2023
With reference to the abovementioned complaint.
On 12/07/2021, the complainant entered into a written agreement with Aurinia Motors (hereinafter referred to as “Aurinia”), in which the complainant purchased a 2018 Hyundai Grand i10 1.25 Fluid vehicle (hereinafter referred to as “the vehicle”).
During 07/2021, after contacting the relevant salesman, the complainant brought the vehicle in complaining about the vehicles clutch. Our Sales Manager assisted the complainant, as a gesture of good faith, in replacing the slave cylinder at no extra cost.
The complainant made a further complaint during 07/2021, regarding the service of the vehicle. The complainant was adamant that the vehicle was purchased with a service plan, the Sales Manager reiterated that the above vehicle was not purchased with an after-market service plan. Our Sales Manager, nevertheless, accommodated the complainant in assisting her to make a booking with Hyundai and reiterated that the payment for the service of the vehicle was her responsibility, as the vehicle’s service plan had expired. The Sales Managers contacted the complainant telephonically, as well as by email, of which she declined to respond to either communication. The Vehicle booking was made on her behalf, and on date of booking, the complainant did not bring the vehicle in to the dealership.
Aurinia prides itself on resolving customer complaints. Aurinia furthermore, confirms that it did everything in its power to satisfy the customer’s needs.
With regards to the complainant’s allegation of misrepresentation, Aurinia doesn’t condone any act of fraud and denies such a defamatory statement.
Kindly take notice that the abovementioned complaint is defamatory in nature in that it’s the wrongful and intentional publication of defamatory words or conduct that refers to the Company. Unless the cause of complaint is removed within 10 days from date of publication of this response, you are hereby warned that legal action will be instituted against you.
