Good day, My name is Clement Maake. On 10 October 2025, I purchased a Ford Wildtrack engine for a 2014 model from the Aurinia Branch in Silverton. I engaged a third party, SVD Motors in Pretoria North, to fit the engine. The installation was completed, and payment was made to them. I retain all invoices and proof of payment for both the purchase of the engine and its fitment, which are attached for your reference. After few days the engine began producing a knocking sound. I returned the vehicle to SVD Motors for inspection, as they performed the installation. They advised me to provide all related invoices, including those for parts purchased from Ford Aurinia Silverton. On 14 January 2026, I received an email from Ford Aurinia requesting that I bring the vehicle to their branch for assessment. I comp****, and Ford proceeded to create a job card for the vehicle. Subsequently, I received an email with an invoice stating that I am required to pay R41,000 for an "all-in-one" engine part, as well as an additional R15,000 for engine stripping. I was taken aback by these charges. Regarding the warranty, the receipt (or engine agreement) signed by the parts manager explicitly states: "Warranty on engines sold over the counter carries a term of 6 months or 10,000 km." Since my purchase, the engine has neither exceeded six months nor traveled 10,000 km in fact, it has not even reached 5,000 km. This confirms that the engine is unequivocally still under warranty As a consumer, I believe I have been let down by Ford. I purchased the engine in full, have all proof of payment, and followed all instructions provided at the time of purchase regarding fitment. The engine has been in use for less than a month, and I expect the applicable warranty to be honoured. Therefore, I respectfully request one of the following resolutions: 1. A replacement engine without any further charges, or 2. A full refund of the purchase amount. I trust that you will address this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves. I look forward to your prompt response. Yours sincerely, Clement Maake

I only wanted to extend a service warranty and the Lady working under sales suggested that I trade my Bakkie and a car for my ex wife that still had to be paid off. I traded it for a same model and 3 months later I had to take the bakkie back being told that they were not allowed to trade 2 Vehicles for one. I was given an FX4 my Budget was not more than R12500 I was told first instalment would be high about R19000 and then it would drop to my budget this never happened instalment stayed over R19K. November came and I was given a Raptor for interim until the new 2.0lt model would be launched in January needless to say that I had excuses all over and now sitting with an instalment of over R29k a month and between the dealership Manager that I phoned, their Lady doing the financing and the lady that after 13months of tireless promises my matter still is unresolved and seems like none of them are trying to get me out off the mess they put me in.

My wife and I collected the vehicle from the dealership mentioned above on Tuesday 27th of September and were sold the vehicle by a lady called Marulette. This was a gray Kia Rio 2020 model. On Saturday the 8th of October as I was off-ramping in the Diepsloot area, the car stalled and the brakes would not work. I tried to start the car again and to brake, to no avail. The car was still in motion at this point. Fortunately, I had slowed down significantly and there wasn't another car in front of me or a pedestrian who was crossing the road. If not for this, there's no telling what would've happened or who I would have harmed, or if I would've been harmed myself. I tried to call Marulette (salesperson)and Wayne but was passively dismissed as they do not work on weekends. My insurance (King Price) was responsive enough to organise someone to come tow the car, the gentleman who drove the truck was Kgabo. My insurance was very helpful. He dropped me off outside the gate of the complex where I stay and then took the truck to Kia Fourways where a thorough diagnosis was conducted on the car. The car was found to have previously been involved in an accident and the engine and radiator need to be completely replaced. I was not told this by the dealership when I collected the car and I would not have taken the car if I knew that it was in such a condition. I spoke to Ms. Kim Darries telephonically from Kia Fourways yesterday and she said to fix the car would cost more than R250 000.00. I am shocked that there are people who would be willing to sell a death-trap, just so they can make a quick buck. I am currently in the process of terminating the procurement of this vehicle. I would not advise anybody to use their services or buy a car there! @kingpriceinsurance @kiamotorssouthafrica

I purchased a vehicle at ford Aurinia .it was my second purchased from them.my second purchased things went south since I was helped by another sales man by the name of Andrew Broudey.i feel like my rights as a customer were violated.the day the were drawing my vehicle purchase agreement contract they include warranty from M-sure(bumper 2 plumber) on my contract without even discussed with me,meaning that policy included to my contract were sold to me incorrectly.i signed my vehicle purchase agreement contract electronically on their iPad does why I didn't notice.they split that warranty over 72 month on my vehicle installment.i notice that on my vehicle statement.i sent them email but since they benefitted from that insurance they no longer care.
