Alistar the owner is very unreliable, full of promises and commitments he does not honor, his work in general is not of good standard and he lies all the time and does not come back to you when you try to contact him. If by chance he might call back or send a voice message on WhatsApp he is full of excuses and just don't come back to fix his s****py work. I've been waiting now for about a year in which he just promise every time but he just does not care about his clients once he left the site. I paid for material and a lot for labour for them to come fix their shoddy work in the first place, but they just messed it up even more the second time around and now Alistar ignores all my calls and messages. Don't even consider using him for anything. Gideon.
It is with great regret that I took my vehicle to Flora Auto Clinic in Roodepoort, opposite Flora Clinic (Hospital) for repairs, the reason being that at first they worked on my car and told me that they tested and checked everything and that the vehicle was fine. After the first day in traffic I noticed that it was not Idling evenly and when I stopped I had to keep revving the car to prevent it from stalling. Although they replaced the water pump as well as the timing belt etc., the car also did not want to start when you stopped after driving it and the engine was warm, it was also using a lot more fuel than before, they never did a pressure test on the vehicle with the result being that the car was using water and it did not show any water leaks. My vehicle was taken back to them and I explained to them what all the symptoms were that I experienced but they did not attend to to most of the complaints. The result being that I had to phone after them all the time to try find out what was going on with my vehicle and every time I just got the same response "they are waiting for the auto electrician" to come test why the car had a problem starting. At one stage they eventually told me that they think that the timing was out and that they were going to fix that. Eventually they then told me that they think that the car is loosing water through the exhaust and that they think the Head Gasket was the problem (Now that was after the vehicle has been with them for 2 WEEKS. Today is Monday 29 August 2022 and they still did not fix my vehicle as they want to charge me extra for now taking of the Head to check the Gasket, that is after they already charged me more than R11 100 to fix the car originally, I am still waiting for them to let me know when I can fetch my vehicle after it's been with them since Saturday 13 August 2022 but still it is not fixed properly. All I want to say to people out there, be careful when you consider taking your vehicle to Flora Auto Clinic as they are not very professional in their way of doing tings and communication from their side is non existing. The customer service in this company does not exist, this must be the worst courier / logistics company in the world. They send you a notice of delivery on a specific day and 2 days later they still tell you it is out on delivery, I think they are incompetent and useless. You can not even speak to a manager as they keep cutting you off. USELESS does not even get close to describing the service and the people working there
I would like to warn people against VRS as they are not doing honest business, they make people pay for something you don't want and can not afford and are not at all interested in whether you have an income or not. I bought Vacation Club Points with Multi Destinations Club many years ago, the points are all paid in full and we are only supposed to pay monthly levies. I lost my job in June 2020 and due to my age, nobody seems interested employing me and for that reason I do not have an income and can therefor not afford the levies any longer. When I made contact with them to inform them about my situation they had no sympathy at all and just told me that I must pay the full levies of the next year to enable them to cancel it on their side. The more I tried to explain to them that I am not intending to use these points at all and all the points of 2021 are unused by me, the more the refuse to accommodate me and insist I have to pay whether I can or not. Please NEVER buy any Vacation / Holiday club points where either VRS or MDC are involved.
This is to serve as a WARNING to all South African people who considered buying a Ford Ranger, to stay clear as the vehicles are definately NOT as good as they make them out to be or as good as the old Ranger models were. The After Care Service From Ford Head Office is of such nature that it does not really exist and you can not get hold of any Senior Manager to talk to, only Customor Care consultants available to handle complaints. I own a 2015 Ford Ranger WILDTRAK (Automatic), which was the FLAGSHIP at the time, of which the gearbox COMPLETELY packed up after doing only 162000 km and Ford South Africa Head Office refused to assist in any way. I was helped by a Dealership who assisted me with some of the costs as I had to pay for the repairs myself. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM FORD VEHICLES, you will regret it if you don't. Gideon
I would like to bring tha following problem to the attention of potential buyers of RYOBI products. I bought a RYOBY ****eater (Model RLT1002) form Makro an few months ago, whith a 2YEAR warranty. That however does not mean a thing as the Bumper head of my machine broke and I can not use it like that as it will not feed the line. I went to quite a few stores to find spare parts as this part is not covered by the warranty and had to buy it to fix the proble. However, that part was nowhere to be found, I phoned RYOBI in Midrand and was told that there were no such part available but that they woud see if they can find one and send it to the MICA store closest to me and inform me as to what they managed to do. There was to date, two weeks later, still no reply from them and my machine is still broken which means I can not do the edges of my lawn etc. I went to a lawnmower repair company and they tried to find out whether they coul get the part for me, only to be told by RYOBI that the part will maybe be available earliest by the end of October 2021 which means my problem does not concern them, I must deal with it and just accept their poor after sales service / care. Therefor be careful before you buy one of their products as they are NOT Customer care driven and just make you sort out your own problems which is a result of their poor QUALITY Products. I would like to compliment Aurinia Ford in Silverton, Pretoria for the excellent service i received so far and still receiving in regards with my vehicle that they are working on. I would also like to personally thank Shaun for the efford he personally put in to help and assist me as far as getting my vehicle fixed. I can reccomend Aurinia Ford to everybody, you can really trust them when you want your vehicle serviced or repaired as they are most proffessional and really cares for their customers. I am driving a 2016 Ford Ranger Wildtrak 3.2 and now i have experienced problems with the gearbox, when I made contact with Ford Head Office Customer Service Centre, they just told me that it is a problem that they can not be held responsible for although there are nomerous reports from other Ranger 3.2 owners regarding the six speed Automatic gearboxes. They refuse to acknowledge that there could be a problem with these gearboxes and told me to get the vehicle to a Ford Dealership and then pay for a Diagnostic test. They also said that my vehicle is too old for them to assist me with the financial or repair costs involved. I have been driving Ford vehicles since i was 18 years old and had at least 7 differint Fords over the years but I am unfortunately not being treated very nice by their Customer Service department and I am also therefor advising any prospective Ford buyers to be very weary and careful when considering buying any product from them as you might experience the same treatment as I did. My advise is, STAY AWAY from Ford Vehicles. Gideon Voges
The reason for this report is not that the resort is a bad place to go to, but rather that they are taking money from people which was paid too much and not giving an option of a cash refund, only a "Credit" with an expiery date on which in these times people are not always in a position to go away. I got a "Credit" with them last year for R200.00 which according to them I should have used by 28 February 2021 which was not possible for me. They received money from me so how can they decide to give Credit with an expiry date on it, it was not a "Voucher"which can expire, cash does not expire which means they are unlawfully taking money from people which surely can not be legal and can not be allowed either. We have booked through our club to go there for the Easter Weekend but now they claim that my Credit is no longer valid, I want everyone considering going to Klipdraai to be very careful and NEVER pay more than you have to as they are not trustworthy at all, that is IF you want to go to a resort where you can not trust the people managing the place.
