klipdraai holiday resort
We were booked in for easter weekend 18/04 - 21/04. My wife was unexpectedly rushed into the hospital and admitted to ICU. We called Klipdraai and spoke to the owner as soon as it happend to ask if we can postpone the holiday for another time, they were not interested to assist and we were told that they have turned people away already. I do understand they have a no refund or cancellation policy but this was out of our control and all we asked for was some posponement of the holiday, They would not budge, This was one of our favourite places but we will not returning because of this incident. That was unhuman from them

Deposit Never Paid Back
You can't complain about the service if there is no service in the first place. The staff are unnecessarily rude and refuse to help us. We paid a deposit in October 2024 to reserve a camping spot for December 2024, but due to personal circumstances we were unable to go. Two weeks after paying the deposit we cancelled the reservation and requested the deposit be paid back, only for the receptionist to tell us that the deposit is non-refundable. They refuse to provide us with any further information and will not put us through or provide us with contact details for management to escalate our query. This is a direct violation of the Consumers Act and they still refuse to pay the money back. We are now forced to take them to the Small-Claims Court. The new management are not worth being called management and treat their paying customers extremely poor and does not take accountability.

Will not recommend this place to anyone
This was the absolute worst camping experience i have ever had Myself and my Family went there for December Holiday’s 2024 The water was smelly , stained our swimming clothes you could not even see the bottom of the pool No life guards on site No toilet paper No “ bad prop “ No control over music in the evening Dogs swimming in the pools Ground is extremely hard Showers dirty The shop on premises very rude Sewerage smell all around camp site Premises is very dirty We have lodge a complaint with them and the did not even say sorry , they don’t have the decency to even get back to us My Grandmother was with us and she was sick in hospital for more then a week Till date i have not been able to get the stains out of the swim wear and i needed to wash my multiple times just to get the smell of the water out , my Wife needed to go and dye her hair to get the green stains out. I feel that they are a unsafe environment and i would not recommend it to anybody.

KLIPDRAAI HOLIDAY CAMPING RESORT MEYERTON
It is with a very sad heart to say that this place which at one stage was the only place we went to for camping, will never see us again. We stayed over the December holidays for 10 nights and I would say, it was a very long 10 days. We could not swim in any of the pools because of the water smelling so bad and besides that the day visitors took over the space. The miss use of the bathroom facilities which is not efficient to carry the day visitors as well. Then at night when you are trying to make food, the smell of the sewage spilling out of the drains was also just enough to make you want to pack up and go home.... and beside all this, if you are camping at the bottom of the resort, you can't afford to move away from your site because then the ******s pull in and destroy everything. What a bad holiday experience.... Sorry guys, but this family with all our friends that camped during last year as well will not be visiting your resort in the near future again...

Worst Place Everrrrrrrrrrr!!! Communication is POOR!!! Services is POOR!!! They are EXTREMELY RUDE!!! THEY ARE VERY VERY ******😡 I would never ever recommend this place to any Coloured people...they treat Coloureds like dogs!!! From the day we booked we have been treated like ****!!! Very nice place for Camping but I would never ever come back to this place ever again....why do White people still treat Coloureds like animals😡😡😡😡😡 Sies man hule is Sleg!!! Coloured People... STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! ****** ****** ******...

Klipdraai caravan park - new management
I have read the review on Klipdraai Caravan Park. We belong to SAWA a camping association, we frequently camp at Klipdraai, and I think it is necessary to inform those interested that Klipdraai is under new management and there has been a 360 degree change in the management, resort staff and what they offer. I strongly believe of you book there again you will notice the change as the staff are friendly and helpful, and if you are lucky enough to be at the resort when the new owner is there, you will find that he make time to speak to the clients, is willing to listen to them, and treats everyone, clients and staff with the utmost respect, Please give them another try, you will not be disappointed.

I have read the review on Klipdraai Caravan Park. We belong to SAWA a camping association, we frequently camp at Klipdraai, and I think it is necessary to inform those interested that Klipdraai is under new management and there has been a 360 degree change in the management, resort staff and what they offer. Despicable behaviour displayed by owner!!
Absolutely AWFUL experience!!! The owner is the most obnoxious and horrible human being I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. He swears and yells at his customers, threatens them and their dogs, chases paying customers away, and displays a level of disrespect I've never seen before. We were yelled at, sworn at, and the owner threatened to punch my boyfriend in the face. I witnessed the owner displaying the same threatening behaviour toward other customers, and I saw numerous customers leaving the resort due to this. I will not go back there until the resort is under new management. Absolutely despicable, and the owner needs urgent training in the field of customer service. AVOID THIS RESORT!!

KLipdraai has very poor management and staff
Very beautiful place but badly managed and rude staff. Die baas se "vrou" should not work with the public as she just doesn't have the finesse or class. The place I believe was auctioned just recently and I sincerely hope the new "baas" know to select his staff. First point of contact is very important! Definitely recommend Sionsberg much better place than klipsdraai!

Very beautiful place but badly managed and rude staff. Die baas se "vrou" should not work with the public as she just doesn't have the finesse or class. The place I believe was auctioned just recently and I sincerely hope the new "baas" know to select his staff. First point of contact is very important! Definitely recommend Sionsberg much better place than klipsdraai!
