I bought a car from them in February 2026 at Auto Addicts Commercial Road The information on the description board was false. The worse part was when I took the car for road worthy and the engine number didn't correspond with the body of the vehicle. The manager treated me so bad, the floor salesman was worse. Since buying the car I drive it maybe 5times to date. There's a lot of mechanical faults that they , say is excluded because they make you sign an buy as it is agreement. The manager oh my word if never came across such a disrespectful, cold, inconsiderate human being. They now expect me to take the vehicle to them at my cost in order for them to take it to clearance. I have been without the car for almost 2 week now because it's not driving. They care less because my money is in their account.

Very bad car dealership experience. Advertising false information on description. No regard for customers. Very insensitive. Manager I dealt with at Commercial branch was very arrogant and heartless. When the money is in there account, they care less. Salesman services were very bad. Doesn't value a customer.

I strongly advise anyone considering Auto Addicts to be extremely cautious. I purchased a Renault Kwid from them in December 2025, and it lasted exactly four days before a major engine failure occurred (timing chain tensioner failure causing bent valves). While the car seemed fine on their very short test drive route, my mechanic’s inspection revealed shocking evidence of "patch-up" jobs designed to hide serious issues: The Oil Sump: Was found to be cracked and had been smeared with silicone/gasket maker to temporarily stop leaks. Engine Work: The head gaskets had been reused from previous work, which is negligent and unprofessional. Dishonest Service: A salesman named Mike promised to provide the radio code. When I found out Renault charges R300 for it, he told me he would call me back with the code himself. Two months later, I am still waiting for that call. Auto Addicts makes you sign a disclaimer, but no disclaimer justifies selling a vehicle with pre-existing, hidden mechanical failures that were intentionally masked with silicone and glue. If you value your money and your safety, stay away from these people.

They sold me a Ford kuga after I asked them what's wrong with the car and I test drive the car and the gears was slyding abit and I asked them about it and they said it's normal. 2 days after I bought it we realized the oil of the gearbox goes into the water and it looses power. Now they say they don't have anything to with it. The car was fine when I bought it. Now it my problem and it's only 5 days after I bought the car. I'm really disappointed in them. Wil not recommend them to anyone.

I got my first ever car from Auto Addicts. There were so many more problems than they disclosed. Originally they said that the only problem was the window. They said they needed to find parts for it but they would. After a month, nothing happened so we managed to sort it out. Still, we were waiting for them to do change of ownership. After 2 months of fighting, they came out and said that the car actually wasn’t road worthy (even though they said I could get in and go). Not even 6 months of having it (with it being road worthied by dealership), my wheel axel broke into my wheel drum while I was driving! There is no possible way that the car was actually road worthy. I’ve had the car for less than 5 years and I’ve spent more than double the amount of the cost of the car on repairs.
