Terrible. Terrible. Terrible. After months of waiting for my vehicle to be repaired (granted, it was over December period), the state of my car as they wanted to give it to me was **********. Absolutely shocking. Cracked "new" headlight, fender and bonnet not lining up, scratches not repaired and the fender liner had pieces hanging off of it with a general poor fit. I thought it was a joke. And the reason stated was that the insurance company only approved non-original parts. Fine. But you as the service provider should have stepped in. You cannot give a vehicle to client in this state. It is shocking. Just not a trustworthy practice in my opinion. They had to subsequently redo everything with new parts after a complaint to the insurance company. PS I'm still waiting for my car. Accident happened 3 December 2024. Ridiculous.

After my work vehicle was damaged Auto Body Works PE was approved by the insurance to repair the vehicle. Waited about a month for them to order the parts before the vehicle was booked in 28 May. Repairs was supposed to take 2-3 weeks. On 9 July we were told that finally the windscreen would be fitted on that day or at the latest the next day. On 10 July after doing enquiries I was told that they will let me know as soon as they came to fit the windscreen. Same day at about 13:00 ABW phoned me and said that the person fitting the windscreen arrived. At about 16:00 I asked a co worker to drop me at ABW as I was positive that the vehicle would be ready before closing time. Sadly the vehicle was not ready and I was told there is a process to be followed (vehicle must be inspected etc) which I understood and I asked if the vehicle would be ready the next day as I also need to make arrangements and I was only told they would send me a message when it was ready. 11 July at 14:00 I phoned ABW and did enquiries. Once again I was told that I will receive a message when its ready and they could not tell me if it will be ready the same day once again using the excuse of inspection. At the moment there is still no word from them. If the vehicle is not ready be honest with clients, dont feed them all sorts of excuses as they slso need to make their arrangements, honesty goes a long way. As far as my own vehicles are concerned I will never use ABW. Absolute pathetic service. Will never ever recomend as Im sure evrn a touch up would take weeks.

Currently having a frustrating experience with Auto Body Works Panel Beaters. The lack of timely service i have received is unacceptable, especially considering my car has been in their possession for five months without being repaired since the accident on December 3rd, 2023. Continuous extensions of the completion date has been extremely inconvenient and stressful for me. Iv had to incur alot of debt due to making other means of transportation, Im dissatisfied with the extensive delays in fixing my car and the inconvenience and lack of communication i have faced during this time is unacceptable.

The one-star that this company has received is purely because, a rating is required, to have a review. Otherwise, a negative rating is what they deserve! The accident claim I submitted was handled swiftly by my insurance (ABSA I-Direct) and approved in a timely manner. The issue was and continues to be Autobody Works (ABW). My vehicle was inspected on the 25th of January by Clayton and on the 16th of February, my insurance authorized AWB to continue with repairs. While I thought that repairs had began already, I was updated by Nadia from the courtesy department, that they would ONLY start on the 8th of March 2024. I asked how long this would take and I was told that it would be 7-10 days which was confirmed by Clayton. As frustrated as I was, I remained positive because in 2 weeks, I'd have my car. A month later - after my car was booked in, I'm still being told that my car is busy with repairs and when I asked about a clear account of work that they had done for the whole month, no one seemed to have the answers for the delay. The lack of integrity and competence they have displayed is disappointing to say the least. This type of conduct should be more than reason enough for Insurance companies to stop taking client vehicles for repairs there. Clayton, Nadia and the team - thank you, for absolutely nothing!

Left my car with them for a dented bumper and broken headlight cover. Its been 6 weeks they keep saying they are waiting for parts. My car hire has lapsed and I'm now stuck without a car. They wont give me back the car so I can return it when the parts have been delivered.Essentially no work was done on it up to date and still the parts which were supposed to arrive last week Friday after yet another postponement. I would not recommend them.
