CGT Automotive Service Centre (Pty) Ltd, Chris Berning, chris@gcauto.co.za. Chris serviced my car for many years in Krugersdorp. He then moved to Ventersdorp. I was having problems with no cruise control light coming on. Trusting him, I had the car towed to Ventersdorp. He quoted R6200 for the job which I paid him for. After being unable to fix the car and numerous stories and outright lies, I had to pay to have the car towed back to me. Part of the engine was missing (throttle), it was totally dead. The car had started when tow truck driver collected it. Jeff's Jags where I took it next said the incorrect throttle position sensor had been fitted plus the TPS short-circuited by connecting wires on broken connecting the wrong way around, so they procured a good used throttle body. The short circuiting had damaged 3 elecronic components in the ECU requiring an expert to repair it, requiring 22 hours labour and R30 000. Total costs including towing R46 000. Despite having proof of everything, Chris totally denies everything of course. He is completely *************, do not trust this man or give him your car!

I would like to thank Jan Hendrik and his team for the excellent service they provide. He always keeps you informed about the progression on work done on our busses and vechiles. Very professional repairs done by competent mechanics. I would recommend them any day.
