No More Aviator
Aviators Retreat b&b is a beautiful place but the service we received was atrocious. The woman by the reception was so rude. We were a group of 5 couples. 1 of the self-catering room stove was not working, in 1 room the fridge was not working, we reported it but the complaint fell on deaf ears. When we asked to borrow dinner plates, we were told the rooms we had booked didn't come with plates. The ruled of the establishment states that "no loud music after 22:00" but we were told to turn off our music at around 19:00. It was not even loud. We were a group of 10, obviously we're going to be loud when talking. The towels are hard as mielie sacks(we advised her on how to keep the towels fresh and soft) 2 days into the stay I asked for a clean bed sheet, I was told they only changed the sheets once a week. Our friend and families saw our pictures and wanted details of the b&b, but we refused to share them because of the terrible inhumane service we got. None of my friends and family will be going to that place. They don't even deserve the 1 star rating

Refund policy.
I made a booking to stay here for one night, for 8 April to 9 April, unfortunately I had to cancel my trip due to my two autistic boys not coping with me travelling. They have a cancellation policy, but according to booking.com there is no refund, yet on the website it does not state that. Attached the screenshot of their webpage after my booking was made and paid. This is daylight robbery. I demand that my R 550.00 be paid back, if you have any knowledge of autism and autistic children's challenges you will understand, and this during autism acceptance and awareness month. I am a author of the chapter Autism and the Law in the book Autism: Perspectives from Africa, it is actions like this that grossly discriminate against parents with children with neurodevelopmental challenges. This is disgusting.

Marie du Plessis welcomed us warmly, the room layout was very smart and decorated with taste. Friendly service and great beds and comfy bedding.
