As a nedbank client i expected a far better customer experience, however i am sitting here after paying in cash for a Samsung s26 with no delivery and no feedback. Its interesting because they continue to have specials on the phone but no actual delivery of goods Looks like i need to contact the ombudsman

I placed an order and used Greenbacks as a payment method. The next day I received an email stating that the order had been cancelled. I contacted Avo and they claim that the payment didn't go through, even though the transaction showed on my Greenbacks account when the order was placed. Now they won't refund me in Greenbacks and say I have to wait for up to a week for the Avo credits to be credited to my Avo account. The Avo agent also asked me for a screenshot of the Greenbacks transaction, which I tried to send via their pathetic chat interface, but apparently it never went through. Why can't Avo follow up the transaction that they initiated with Greenbacks themselves? Please get someone that actually cares to contact me and reinstate the order or process the refund ASAP.

Support service of this online store is non-existent. I logged a query on the 16th of January, 10+ days later the only response I get is that their team is looking at it. I am trying to purchase a product on their site when there's clearly an issue. I contacted my bank, as instructed by them, who confirmed my cards are in order and working fine. They are yet to respond on the last two emails I sent. tried contacting them on the number online - greeted by a robot directing me to the app. At this stage this company is preventing me from spending my rewards points - they simply don't seem to care. In a world where the online experience is what sets you apart from the competition, Avo does not make the cut.

Experience is very bad. made 2 orders. was very impressed with the quick delivery and quality of the products ordered. I then went and did another order which unfortunately was an incorrect product I ordered. I then went to log a return request for the product. and after waiting numerous days for feedback via email they say it's outside of the cooling off period after they took forever to reply on the email. I informed them and expressed my disatisfaction and they simply just ignored my email. now im sitting with a tablet cover that I paid R2500 for and cant do anything with it.

Be warned, Avo is a hopeless waste of your valuable time. I redeemed 121,850 Voyager miles on their site 5 days ago and these were instantly debited from my SAA Voyager account. But on the other side, I've received absolutely nothing in terms of Avo points which are supposed to be worth R4,874. It is impossible to reach them on the phone number advertised 0860 100 833 - they just have a recorded message that tells you to use their chatbot or email "to experience the world class service" - what a joke!! Messages to the chat are never answered. There is basically ZERO support. I even tried calling their business support number 0860 910 400 in the hope of reaching a human who could do something. But all I got was the same cheesy hold music repeated for 40 minutes and no one ever answering the call! Eventually I got a response from their email support with lots of excuses about technical/network issues but NO points credited to my account and no commitment of WHEN this might happen. I responded to ask them to just credit my account manually in the meantime so I can complete my purchase and then they can always reverse it if the original transaction is ever completed. Of course I got no further response at all. These guys are just experts at passing on their internal problems to customers - no concept of customer service at all.

Honestly the worst customer experience I had received. 6 emails in (during the course of a week) , not 1 reply… Delivery date continues to extend time after time and refunds for incorrect items don’t get processed . It’s been a month. I’m opting for a refund….. This just serves as a honest review and a form of constructive criticism…
