My dream Valentine’s Day starts with me waking up like the main character I am, sunlight doing that soft Instagram‑filter glow on my face. I’m greeted with fresh flowers because obviously the universe knows I deserve petals and soft living. The day officially kicks off with a champagne breakfast so sparkling it makes me rethink my life choices, in a good way. Next on the itinerary is a spa session where I am pampered so thoroughly that even my stress decides to resign immediately. Aromatherapy. Massages. Warm towels. My soul practically floats out of the building with a “thank you for your service.” After that, it’s time for a sunset picnic at the most scenic spot imaginable, the kind of place where the sky does that slow orange to pink fade as if it’s auditioning for a perfume commercial. My picnic basket is filled with all my favourites because why compromise on a day created for romance and indulgence. As the stars come out, the final touch is a private fine dining experience. Soft music. A menu that feels like poetry. A dessert that makes my heart sign a peace treaty with calories. Everything elegant, everything thoughtful, everything giving “luxury romance with a sprinkle of magic.” My dream Valentine’s Day is simple. Comfort, beauty, spoils, vibes and a little bit of main character energy from sunrise to starlight.

On the 4th of July 2025 I drove to the Infinity Wellness Spa by Bakwena on the Zevenwacht Wine Estate Farm in Kuilsriver and I made a booking and paid in full for spa services. On the morning when I arrived at the Zevenwacht Wine Estate Farm I received a call from the spa informing me that the booking has been cancelled because their staff were on strike. I was told that I would receive an email on which I could either reschedule my appointment at a later date in July, or receive a full refund. I immediately requested a full refund. On the 11th of July 2025, I received an email from an oriongroup address from Dr Sandra Perkins, the Director for Infinity Wellness Spa, which stated that all services were suspended until further notice as they were in the process of selling the business and could not commit to any future bookings, and that possible refunds would be communicated in due course. Dr Sandra Perkins has refused to refund my payment by ignoring my numerous requests and is still selling fictitious spa services for Bakwena Day Spa as their website is up and running again.

I booked and paid in full for a full spa, 2-hour game drive and accommodation. I got an email literally 2 days after paying saying that the spa is closing down. When I arrived, nothing was paid for, but the bookings were there... Since then, there has been no indication of refunds, and I keep getting a generic response with a letter to creditors attached. Keep getting through to a lady named Dessy on the number that was provided, but she has been trained on what to say and she is very rude and dismissive. It has now been over a month of hearing her voice! Sandra Perkins is MIA with our money....
