My Volkswagen was due for its annual service so with great hesitation I contacted Barons VW Durban and asked the burning question... I enquires with the service receptionist what additional if any security features has the dealership put innplace to secure my vehicle and her trained answer was let me put you through the service manager. We'll, he was too busy to take my call and my details was noted so that he would return my call. I waited and waited, but no call so after 2 days I called the dealership again. This time the service receptionist was too busy, because I called twice and I could not reach her.
I comclded that these are indeed red flags and a clear lack or professionalism or avoidance so I booked my vehicle for a service at another dealership. This dealership doesn't drop off clients that live more than 10km from its premises so guess what, I had to sit there for 3 hours until the service was complete. The bonus is that I received my vehicle. A last note it has been a week now and I'm still waiting for Barons VW durbanService Manager to return my call.
