On the 4 th of April 2025 I called Home Connect who is my ISP to cancel my fibre account at then end of April. To my shock and horror it was canceled the next day and I was without internet for 5 days. After numerous calls and WhatsApp messages, I was told Vuma canceled my services although I had paid for the month. I spoke to the manager of Home Connect who then told me it was a system error. No internet for 5 days. Vuma informed them that it didn't not cancel my services but in fact it was Home Connect. I spoke to over q0 consultants in order to be reconnected and no effort or professionalism was forthcoming from Home Connect. Just excuses and the blame game. They are the worse Intenet Service providers on Earth and beyond. A company run by incapable and uncaring individuals who can't take responsibility for their inabilities.
We booked our family getaway for a weekend and via Booking.com found Gardenia Boutique Hotel. The images on their website was breathtaking and we booked our accommodation. The images and or pcitures are deceiving and should be reomved from their website. This was our worst choice and it turned out to be a nightmare. The accommodation was extremely disappointing, the tiles on the floor were stained, the fridge did not work and leaked, the eanmel on the bathtub was pealing off, the mosaics in the shower were broken and had sharp edges which cut my foot, the duvets were damp, the breakfast was a meal for a baby and the dispenser for the cereal was broken. The aircon was not working in the room. The staff were unhelpful and unprofessional, displaying a don't care attitude.
My Volkswagen was due for its annual service so with great hesitation I contacted Barons VW Durban and asked the burning question... I enquires with the service receptionist what additional if any security features has the dealership put innplace to secure my vehicle and her trained answer was let me put you through the service manager. We'll, he was too busy to take my call and my details was noted so that he would return my call. I waited and waited, but no call so after 2 days I called the dealership again. This time the service receptionist was too busy, because I called twice and I could not reach her. I comclded that these are indeed red flags and a clear lack or professionalism or avoidance so I booked my vehicle for a service at another dealership. This dealership doesn't drop off clients that live more than 10km from its premises so guess what, I had to sit there for 3 hours until the service was complete. The bonus is that I received my vehicle. A last note it has been a week now and I'm still waiting for Barons VW durbanService Manager to return my call. ,
I ordered a chicken burger, added fries to that, and 2 wraps, one steak and chicken. It was extremely disappointing when we ate the meal, the chips were fried numerous times or in fried in old oil, the wraps were very dry and tasteless. It was indeed a waste of money and appetite. I will never support this eatery again.
I had made an appointment with an agent from Wakefields Chatsworth , namely Nisha for 22 October at 6 pm. At 6 pm on the day we had a no show, then at 6.02 I sent her a message and there was no reply. I tried calling her via WhatsApp but to no avail. At about 6.05 pm I called her and she answered, but to my shock, she informed me that she has to reschedule the appointment. I then enquired why she had not informed me earlier of this and why she waited for me to call her to inform of me her decision. An invalid excuse was given and an apology. This is the value that Wakefields Chatsworth gives to their potential clients and this is how professional they are in dealing with potential clients then one wonders how professional are they.
I dealt with a consultant Mpho Singo who is absolutely knowledgeable about the service that he provides and he goes beyond the call of duty to assist. Employee of the month.
