Barrington Hotel Plettenberg Bay
Beautiful garden entrance beautiful inside decor and setting, excellent articulate helpful staff but the food??????? I asked for beef curry and first attempt was all potato no beef second attempt had a large amount of fat / gristle and little meat few sambals added to the dish not separate so really a poor presentation. Beef curry at Bidvest lounge in P E next day put the hotel to shame it was so good. Concern voiced by my family was that there is a serious attempt to do different combinations of veg / rice or potato which are not necessarily good together. Very sad as it is a beautiful spot but is in need of some careful checking.

Gem in Plettenbergbay
We want to thank the staff of Barrington hotel in Plettenbergbay for an excellent stay in a well equipped and appointed room. One of the best stays in the Western Cape. Love the bear and food.

Barrington's - a hidden gem
What a pleasant surprise we found Barrington's Plett to be. Beautiful gardens and surrounds, an interesting selection of retail products, delicious beer, and stunning food. Will definitely be back to try the different dishes whenever we are in Plettenberg Bay.
