Bayradiology

4th of March, i went to Bayradiology at Mercantile hospital PE, My daughter had to go for a CT scan, I showed the lady my Bayradiology referral letter, Asked me what medical aid i am on, I told her, she told me my medical aid doesnt pay for a CT scan, She gave me the prices, i told her i will contact them to make a appointment, When i got home i contacted my medical aid, they said that there is a benefit, But authorisation can only be given after the scan IF there is enough prove why the CT scan had to be done, otherwise i will be liable. I contacted Bayradiology Greenacres, made my daughters booking and went to them, With no issues, i had to sign a letter that i am liable if my medical aid doesnt pay.

I contacted the lady at Mercantile again. She told me, They stuggle to get payment with my medical aid, and that is why she told me they dont pay. This is a very bad attitude from her, as she just could've explained it to me when i was there, and i also could've signed a liable letter, But instead she just told me they dont pay.
