I have installed 104M2 of Belgotex carpets in my home in March 2021 paying an arm and leg for it After two months we notice ugly appearance changes and dark shades. The carpets was twice inspected by Technical experts from Belgotex There firs finding. Possibility of wet carpets (was tested zero). When material is walked over it may cause the pile to lay in different directions, hence causing the material to look darker in colour. After the re-inspection they report the areas where the irregular marks appear is on the turning points and in the high traffic areas, which is combined with soiling and as such an appearance change is visible between the traffic and non-traffic areas. I don’t know at all how two people can cause this situation in two months which be referred to as high traffic areas. If there was soiling then it was due to old carpets that was installed laying in a warehouse before lock down. This is not the first time that I install carpets in my properties but it is the first time that ugly dark marks appears all over the carpets also in areas where we normally don’t walk. The carpets which we did install is supposed to be a heavy residential loop pile carpet. Belgotex advertise it with a 20 year limited wear warranty and also as colourfast and bleach resistant. According to Belgotex experts the carpets did passed all quality checks and they don’t except any responsibility If you ever consider to fit carpets be careful of your choices
