So last week Saturday, we picked up a Ferrero Rocher cake, which we are used to getting from these guys and thus we know how it usually tastes.... The cake was for a special birthday event hence us ordering "the best". This cake was such a disappointment, as it was very dry and different to the usual that were used to. We called and brought it to the attention of Judy, one of the partners in the business, that by the way is very rude, and very arrogantly insisted that nothing could be wrong with her cakes.... We cut out 2 small slices of cake before we realised it was extremely dry and didn't eat any more of the cake, as we wanted to return it. The feedback we got was that the cake was perfectly fine, and we were offered a mini cake, with not as much as an apology, none whatsoever. Retailers usually would try keeping their clients satisfied, but not these guys. The R700 we spent at these guys is with utter regret, as I could have gotten 3 other cakes from Woolworths, who actually happen to sell fresh confectionary and have a zest for customer service.... The nerve of them offering us less than what we paid for has certainly left me with a bitter taste in my mouth....
