Skew cake, skewer service.

What a horrendous, yet fortunately brief, lapse of judgement on my part in choosing Belles Patisserie as the provider of my boyfriend's birthday cake.

I had ordered a rainbow log cake from Belles, Illovo. Upon collection, I had discovered that my cake was skew and utterly unpresentable. At this time, I logged a complaint - to which the man at counter responded with a wholly apathetic, 'well, there's nothing I can do about it'. Pathetic.

I was then told to call Clara or Chris. However, after numerous unsuccessful attempts to reach them (via call AND email) I have given up. R550 rand, and one INCONSOLABLY embarrassed girlfriend later, I shan't be going back.
