I bought a spare part to repair the aged slave hy****ic clutch slave cylinder for my motor vehicle i bought the item for a fair price on 29 July 2024 and only had my mechanic come install it a few days later only to find the part was an out of box failure as it leaked the hy****ic fluid out on the cylinders seem. I tried calling beras spares 4 times on Friday 2 August 2024 the number rang until it eventually cut off . I decided to go to their premises on Sat 3 August 2024 to request a refund on the faulty part on arriving i was directed by one of the staff to report to returns for service when I arrived there nobody was at this dept to attend to customers you cannot enter as its gaurded by bars and painted metal panels . I could see the business personal walking past and greeted trying to get someone's attention and get service nobody cared to assist but continued walking past i went back to the chap who helped me initially and he advised me to go back and knock again and waited in vain again without being served i decided to go to the main service desk to ask why there was no service at the returns counter by this time i was hot under the collar and highly irritated by the poor service delivery. The staff behind the sales counter called out to the individual who should be at the returns counter prompting him to go and attend to customers. It was firstly not my duty to go looking for this person as he is employed there to perform his duties and he needed to be told that . When he arrived to attend to my matter it went South very quickly refusing me the right to request a refund on a defective out of box failure part he insisted it is policy that it be sent to the supplier for evaluation . I refused to accept his offer for numerous reasons he dissapeared never to return to his post again. Long story short i complained vehemently to another person who came there trying to correct me for my rude behavior and manner if speech it made no difference what i said he continued with refusing to refund me and pulled each thing i said apart and adamantly and repeatedly correcting me . His blatant refusal continued and insisted this defective part be returned to the supplier which could take up to 3 weeks for a result and pending this outcome i may or may not be refunded. By this time i was at boiling point . I asked him if he was here when I arrived and nobody was here to attend and how i was shunted from pillar to post he can go view it as there is a security camera . He excused himself only to return with my refund counted it out and bid me a farewell . Enough said i will never again buy a single item from Beras Auto Spares ever again . The service stinks and so do the staff
