Unfair Cancellation Policy and Lack of Flexibility

We were scheduled to camp at Berg River Resort Paarl this weekend, but the heavy rainfall forecast made it unsuitable. We requested to reschedule, but were informed that our deposit would be forfeited. The resort cited peak season and potential loss of income as reasons for their inflexibility, despite our long-standing relationship with them.

We believe that camping operators should prioritize customer satisfaction and flexibility, particularly in adverse weather conditions. Unfortunately, Berg River Resort failed to meet these expectations.

We would not recommend booking with Berg River Resort due to their rigid cancellation policies and lack of customer-centric approach.
