Amazing Service
I am incredibly appreciative and grateful to the amazing team at Bertha Gxowa Hospital - Maternity Section. The exceptional care, and support I received when giving birth(16/11/2025) was truly unbelievable. From the midwife who helped me give birth, to the team at postnatal(including the wonderful lady who kept bringing us food and tea to drink) - you are all brilliant. I felt as if I was in a private hospital. You are all a true definition of what "people who are passionate about their jobs" means. Thank you all for being such amazing, caring and kind hearted people and making my experience nothing short of amazing. 🌈💕To add to this, today(30/01/2026) I went back to get a UIF form filled, from the nurses at reception to the nurse(Nomonde Mabunda) who assisted me, thank you very much once again for your exceptional service. God Bless!

Poor service from securities who descriminate against colour
Today the 18th November marks the day i came to book for my pregnancy delivery....when i get to the get i approached very very rude old men with his boys of security and i was told there is no parking i must park outside that time i am heavily pregnant.Aparently i decided to wait by the gate until one of the cars come out and i waited for almost 30 minutes....then two cars came out only for the other security guy to ask the car which is number three from me and it was white people inside to enter claiming its wheelchair...the poor service we receive from our securities.He did not even care that i am heavily pregnant and i also need to be assisted asap

Hospital complain
I was just at the hospital and was told by the nurse i neefd a referal letter to go to casualties. There was patients there that has been there since 10 pm last night. Blood was on the chairs and on the floor.

****en useless and ***** hospital
My stepfather was here for 4 days and sadly passed away they stole all of his belongings even his wedding ring how ****en rude and selfish can you be is there any legal steps i can take because i refuse to leave this here after they said he is not supposed to eat they left him to sleep with food in his mouth to choke on

Worst service ever.
More than a year ago i went to the hospital suffering from Migraines. The doctor booked a ct scan, went to the first hospital only to be told the doctor booked the wrong hospital. After how many phonecalls the same day went back to Germiston Hospital, sat there for hours, went to see another doctor, was sent to radiology where a white assistant took my documents and booked another appointment for a ct scan on the 19th October 2025. A year later. I asked her the same day a year ago if the date was correct and she told me yes. Arrived this morning at far east rand hospital, opened a file paid R155. Went and sat at radiology only to be called and told that they are not open over weekends. Germiston hospital, the doctors and the radiology departmemt really dont care about messing pepole around. The worst service ever. I tore up the documents, threw it in the dustbin and left. I am done with trying to figure out what is causing my migraines constantly. I will never fo back to Germiston hospital. They give different medication everytime, which causes more side effects after i gave them all the info of what i am suffereing feom. Guess that is the service you get in SA when you can not afford medical aid..

Disgracefull Service
Dr MB Dlamini was treating my wife utterly rude and they have no respect for patient emergencies and to actually help or save a life. The doctors worry to much about the procedures than to help the patients. My wife was having an anxiety attack and couldn't breathe properly and the doctor was laughing at her and said "oh but I can see your breathing". What the actual **** is going on at that place, I feel sorry for all the people that have to go through this daily. A doctor with that attitude shouldn't have become one in the first place, if it wasn't for the lady in the complaints department and the awesome staff at the pharmacy my wife would probably have had a heart attack. This is an utter disgrace from a government hospital that is supposed to help the people in dire straights that need medical attention.
