I used this company to repair my washing machine. The technician replaced a faulty pump and the machine is now working, so the repair itself was successful. However, I was very disappointed with the price charged for the replacement pump. After paying the invoice, I checked the cost of the same part through multiple suppliers, including authorised dealers and could not find it being sold anywhere near the price I was charged. I understand that service providers may apply mark-ups for parts supp**** and fitted, but in this case the difference appears excessive. I have since contacted the company to request an explanation. Based on my experience, I would advise future customers to request clear pricing for parts upfront before authorising repairs.

I acquired the services of Best Appliances to fix my SMEG gas stove on 19 April 2024. They fixed what was required of them, but they broke my oven glass. They undertook to replace the door, but now they don't answer their phone. They disappeared and left me with the damage. Please be aware of them.

They do Kirby repairs, and I was well surprised as this is such a premium brand, I thought I would not be able to afford repairs. Not so, this gentleman is helpful, and not into ripping off people. nice to know people still care. #30in30

I contacted this company as my fridge wasn’t working. They told me call out fee was R200. They got here said it would be 1500 to fix, we asked about guarantee and they said 3 months . They spent 30 mins and said it was fixed, waited for freezer to start freezing and demanded payment. I had a dr app to run to and I said I’d do it once done. They refused to leave. Eventually they did but said they would be back to wait. I eventually sent them 1200 and my husband called me an hour later to say it wasn’t working. They refuse to send the technician back unless the 300 is paid , I’ve subsequently tried to call them and refuse to pick up. Last call I made to tech he claimed he had to wait for office instructions. Next time he said office had not called, he had no. Airtime so would get some and call them. Now not one of them is picking up calls. Total rip off and unprofessional - I’ve been a sucker - people beware . I will now have to call in someone reputable.
