13 Jul 2023, 07:00As the Technical Manager of Eurocare Wellness I feel that I need to respond on behalf of the company. Michelle brought her original machine in for an assessment at a stage where it was beyond repair and the motor bearings had seized due to the fact, in our opinion, that the machine had been used without the water tank thus causing dirt to enter the motor directly. We sent pictures of the accumulated dirt to the manufacturers in Germany who remarked that it was the worst case they had ever seen. Due to the fact that we stand by our quality products, we decided to supply Michelle with a brand-new machine which was 8 months ago. She contacted us a week ago to say that the machine had stopped working and we asked her to bring it in to our service department for me to analyze. However, she has not done so. Due to EU regulations, the vacuum cleaner has 3 filters, however, only one set needs to be cleaned regularly, as one would do with any make of machine, and the other two are replaced approximately once a year. We are hoping that she will still find the time to bring the machine into our service department for me to attend to it. Andie Crisp.
