We were notified our flights to Amsterdam were delayed to 01h00 two hours before checkin . We would not have made our connecting flight to our final destination. The main purpose of our trip was to go to my grandson’s concert . When we went to check in , the staff tried their level best to assist , unfortunately they said the flight to Birmingham will only leave at 22h00 the following day . We asked to speak the the manager Laura Catalano, she was extremely rude , and said that both KLM and Air France were useless , and she is aware of these consistent problem with cancellations and delays . She then went on to say we could claim from the airline for expenses incurred. She is certainly a reputational risk for the airlines . Unfortunately we will miss our grandson’s concert .
