Bad Cold Chain
Bidfood does NOT follow the cold chain and delivers food that has defrosted, expecting the customer not to notice, this first happened to me, when I complained to my rep I was told to put it in the freezer it would be ok. Second occasion, one delivery later, the product was seafood and was actually off, the rep said he would look into credit, later only saying as I did not return it straight away he wont credit me, two cases, several times later with seafood, I now have to open each product to see if it is still frozen and have already returned several products, one product still sealed in a container, Feta Cheese, I did not open, exp date only May, open the the container to serve and it is off, also factor of no cold chain, once again the rep is refusing my credit as I did not open it when I got, but this can't be, as it was sealed once open then there would be problem of expiry. This is ********, not just against the consumer act but also against, the sale of frozen or cold products and should be taken seriously. They pack the truck the night before, so our product just sits there the whole night only to be delivered the next afternoon!!!!

Bidfood poor service Bloemfontein
Called to find out what time their sales desk is closing and was told at 16h00. I arrived at 15h45 just to be advised that they have already closed. I drove from the south of Bloemfontein to where they are situated in the north. I told them that I called to make sure about the closing time but they refused to help me.
