I am 2 months behind because off tenants not paying. Have to get Layers to get them out. Now I ask for 2 months help because off this. No, I must pay and then ask for that. Really, just no. You have paid and we kept they money.

Write a review Review of Bidvest Insurance #13 Ranked In Short Term Insurance i 0 NPS Recommended: Unlikely i LM Levashan M 3 reviews | Active since Dec 2024 25 Aug 2025 at 08:05 Bidvest Income protection pathetic claim process I have been ill since last year and Bidvest has one of the worst claims processes, they ask for requirements upon requirements. From December 2024 to current i am still unwell writing this complaint. Due to their claims process they have affected my relationship with my specialist and i am even scared of contacting my specialist as i sent them many emails stating that my specialist will only fill out forms in accordance to diagnosis, they repeatedly sent emails to him, and my specialist did not want to continue treatment as he is extremely busy and he cannot be bombarded with mails. This was brought to the attention of bidvest and they ignored it. To date im still unwell yet they dont listen, i am only in contact about health with GP and i cannot afford to be paying specialist bills. My GP has recommended me 6 months leave , this was sent to them yet they look at every possible route to not pay accordingly. Poor service and they make you more sick asking for so many requirements, i have been diagnosed with CONNS SYNDROME, Secondary Hypertension, syncope and my heart rates are extremely high. Currently i am having severe headaches, my hands are numbing, body pains, bp going up, and im even scared to email them as they will ask for a list and i dont have a specialist help anymore as im scared that this will tarnish our relationship further. Sad that i cannot cancel as i have a current condition and this will affect any other insurance i take out. Regards hope that there is a way forward

We cancelled the income protector policy at the end of February given the required 1 month notice. Since then Bidlife have deducted NOT ONE BUT TWO premiums (April and May). The policy was cancelled not only because it took FOUR months for them to actually look at the claim that was lodged in DECEMBER 2024, but also due to their failure to make payment in lieu of the policy (an exclusion that was not noted on the latest policy document that was signed at inception). Their total apathy for client services made this policy a waste of money and in spite of cancellation they still feel entitled to *****ulently dip into your bank account.

This comapny *****s from you. They deducted premiums from my bank twice. They were cancelled due to their very expensive policy. I was not informed of any changes. Now they are ignoring my deadline for me to get the money back.
