Took my car for a service, major service would cost alot. Get there early firat car in line. Get signed in. Everything is fine. Get a call at 2pm they are going to be late with my car, bare in mond i was 1st in line. Then at 3pm another call oh we lost your car keys. Disgusting all around, chatted to a Frank when i got there, he said we will chanhe out locking do a discount no labour charge, and we will come get it from ur work place. Lucky they found the key, The day comes when they need to fetch it fir the service, they only arrive to collect at 10:30. I said i needed it back by 4, I'm worries it wont be done in time. 16:50 car still isnt with me, i call and get told oh they finishing now. When i ask about the price, the discount he knows nothing. Why its late? He replies what do u want me to do? I got really frustrated at thay attitude. Its been disgraceful service from a huge company. I will never return there. They have no clue how to treat a customer at all. Let alone one where they lost my keys. Disapppinted and irriated, wasted my time.

I recently took my vehicle, which I purchased from McCarthy Toyota N1 City, in for its first service and had a very positive experience. The Service Advisor, Clinton, handled the booking efficiently and the entire process was quick and hassle-free. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call before 10:00 to let me know that my vehicle was already completed and in the wash bay. That level of efficiency really stood out. It’s refreshing to deal with friendly, knowledgeable staff who clearly take pride in their work. I’m definitely looking forward to my next visit to McCarthy Toyota N1 City. A sincere thank you to Clinton for making my trip to the workshop run so smoothly.

The Service Advisor, Clinton, handled the booking efficiently and the entire process was quick and hassle-free. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call before 10:00 to let me know that my vehicle was already completed and in the wash bay. That level of efficiency really stood out. It’s refreshing to deal with friendly, knowledgeable staff who clearly take pride in their work. I’m definitely looking forward to my next visit to McCarthy Toyota N1 City. Good Day Trust this email finds you well. I am really unhappy and ****ed off because of what happened yesterday at Toyota N1 City.Took my car in for a service, forgot to remove the money that was in the holder between the seats. I only realised yesterday after I did my nails and had to pay, the money was gone. This is telling me that Toyota N1 city has "*****S" working for them. I immediately reported it to Gillian who was my service advisor yesterday.She advised that she will inform her manager. This morning I went to Toyota N1 City and I completely understand that the manager can't just blame anyone. But the ones who were working on my car should know what happened to the money. It is a R500 not a R5.The manager is now advising me that he can't do anything. I mean really now???? One of your clients was ****** with a R500 by your staff. This is unacceptable. I hope this email reach the right person. I WILL NEVER EVER MAKE USE OF TOYOTA N1 CITY AGAIN.

My vehicle was brought in for servicing three days ago, and aside from an initial update on the first day, I have received no further communication regarding its status. Despite multiple attempts to follow up via phone calls—where the receptionist has tried to connect me with the service advisor or controller—I have not received any clear answers or updates on whether the service has been completed. This lack of communication is disappointing and falls short of the level of service I expected. Thank you to Phumza in finance and Gerrit Assure, sales consultant at the used vehicles. I bought my wife a used Fortuner in June of 2023. It was a week before a went on holiday and originally wasn't going to use it, as we have a H-1 bus. 3 days before we left for the Free State, I told Gerrit, I will take. All good. I then took the car for wheel alignment as I don't trust workshops in general. I at TWT N1 City, they showed me the rim was bent, looked like it brick or rock on the inside of the rim. Also had the battery tested as it didn't sound right, it took strain starting the 2.8 Fortuner. I reported this to Gerrit Assure, He phoned and asked for the vehicle and if possible could stay over night. I took the vehicle in on Thursday morning and received it back on Friday, Toyota replace the battery and fixed the rim and alignment done, report was included. It is now, Feb 2025 and I cannot think anything but be grateful. Phumza got the finance figures back, it was more than I wanted to pay monthly. Phumza asked me to wait as she would contact the banks to get better deals. I got a great rate. Between the 2 of them, I will return to the dealership anytime!

Bought a 2019 Hilux GR S from N1 City Toyota, From 2 min into delivery-Headrests were literally hanging off, Rear sound almost non existant, front headlamps not adjusted, Rear Bin warped, Rear bumper not aligned, black can spray paint on the one shock, leafsprings, rear diff, and even the freaken exhaust, massive windnoise from front non OEM Glass. Overspray from possible previous damage on fender arches and Fender clamps, scratched Rim, damaged window rubbers, Torn rear cup holders, and the. ride is terrible, you can feel every bump, on braking it shudders at different speeds... seems like after market suspension etc Seems like they catch hard working people into buying ****py Toyotas. Sales Manager **** and said no spray work had been down on this vehicle(i have pics). 2nd day i wanted to return keys, and 12th day threw keys back at them. They say nothing is wrong with vehicle, but tried to correct several of the defects, but will not accept vehicle back. If i were yourll, stay clear of this dealership. they are not worth our money, as i was not worth their respect as a client. They tried to do quick fixes, and now the legal fees will fall on me and my family as they will not take back the vehicle. The Sales Team is Lauren Bekker, Kent Klinck and Gerrit Assure. Peoples hard earned monies dont count for this team at Toyota, all they want is your money whichever way they can get it. Apparently the can spray under the vehicle is for protection, not because someone overhaulded the rear diff, the bin often gets out off place in bakkies and bumpers, not because it might have been in an accident, and the overspray is well maybe from factory. I will take this fall for the people wanting to buy from this dealership, but lets hope i am the last person.

Really not happy with their service. I made my booking for a Thursday on a Tuesday, but couldn't take it in because of my working hours. The lady said that I could bring it in on the Wednesday afternoon. Fortunately for me, my plans changed and I called to check of its fine of I only brought it in the Thursday morning and if I had to change any info and the lady said nothing is needed. Come Thursday, I brought it in and I was told no booking has been made. They said my car will be finished between 3 and 4. I called 15:07 to check how far they were and said to me only 30mins left. Got here to fetch my car and got told to wait a few mins. Another 25 mins went by. The consultant told me that the car is only going to take ANOTHER 30 mins. Their client service is really not good. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
