Bought the Kettle Braai in August. Not even 4 months later the legs snapped off and the Rust resistant trash pan is bent and rusted. After every braai I clean it and even store it in my house and not outside. I tried to reach out to them via Whattsapp and even sent pics to no avail. The worst product ever . I would remove the claim of SA no 1 pot. Maybe claim that this is SA no 1 worst pot.

I purchased the "stainless steel" pressure cooker from Big5, it started rusting on the top rim after 2 uses. Big5 says that its normal and refuses to refund me. I have never had a stainless steel pot rusting, even after years of daily use. To save yourself stress and frustration, rather don't buy from this company. Email communication is like squeezing water from a stone.

I received my Zebra pots within 4 days everything was in order… I love my pots I recommend them to any one who wants to buy them. I love the fact that they are so easy to clean..will be buying more for my mum. I give Big5 5*

I really recommend Big5 Cookware! They sent my pot very fast, and it's awesome. The pot is strong, big, and a great value for the price. I use it a lot in my kitchen, and it's perfect for all kinds of cooking. I totally recommend the pot is great, and you get a lot for your money.

I'm really happy with my purchase with Big5! The pot is super strong and nice. Great value for the money, and it arrived quickly,four days, well within my expectations. I had a question and contacted the support team on WhatsApp, they rep**** in a few hours. Thanks to Olga for the excellent service. I am a happy customer. Overall, a fantastic buy, five stars!

I'm really happy with my purchase with Big5! The pot is super strong and nice. Great value for the money, and it arrived quickly,four days, well within my expectations. Think twice before ordering from Big5 Cookware!! I placed an order on 6 February after being assured that the style and colour plates I wanted is in stock. When following up on delivery, I was told that there was no stock of this product. Olga said that they will refund me within 3-5 working days. I have sent several mails as well as Whatsapp messages with my banking details, with zero replies. They do not have landlines, and all my calls are being ignored. I threatened to post my review on every imaginable platform if my refund does not reflect on Friday, 23 February, not even that got a response. It is not just about the money, it is about managing the expectations of your customers. This company rates ZERO!!!

I also believed in the “support local” movement, but unfortunately my loyalty has been severely damaged. I bought products from @Big5, a company that supply some of the retail giants in South-Africa like @makro @checkers @shoprite @kit kat. My requirements were very specific, and I therefore arranged with Frank that if the cookware is not to my requirements, I could send it back for a full and immediate refund. The products were not what I was promised over the phone, and I immediately called Frank to notify him of my dissatisfaction and my intention to send it back. I arranged a courier, sent the parcel and received a notification from the courier that the parcel was delivered on February 7. I called @Big5 the next day and received confirmation from Frank that the parcel has been received and inspected. I received a whats app message from Frank (attached) on February 8 that the refund has been issued with their finance department and that I will be refunded within 3 - 5 working business days. It is the 25th of February today and I haven’t received a cent from them. I have sent them numerous emails and called them 37 times. The same message gets relayed back to me that the person in charge of the refunds is unavailable. I have been given numerous contradicting excuses as to why I have not been refunded and have also been told by the receptionist that Frank told her not to put me through to him. Nobody is willing to provide me with any contact person in the accounts department. @Big5 management – your inability to care about the “little guy” and your lack of fair customer service has left me with no alternative. I will continue to call you out on social media until you fulfil your agreement with me. Regards Chantal Burger.
