Bought a Big Boy Crossover 150x in October 2025,3 months later the bike has been giving problems every single month, some mornings the bike would refuse to start {keep in mind the scooter had less then 1000kms at the time} then the scooter would also make rattling noises when accelerating.Now the scooter has just over 2000kms and there's a knocking noise coming from the engine.Do yourself a favor and buy a more reputable brand,Sym,Honda,Suzuki etc.

I purchased a big boy rs adventure 150 in December, I received it on the Friday and Saturday on my way to work broke down on the highway with only about 20km on the clock also losing a full tank of petrol, sent it back to be repaired the very next Saturday the same thing happened, this happened on 4 occasions when eventually I insisted the bike goes to big boy head office for repairs after them having the bike for about a week they eventually sorted it out, now I am 9000km in on my scooter and was told by the dealer who done my 9000km service the clutch needs to be replaced due to long distance riding, when I purchased the scooter the dealer confirmed the distance I will be traveling is not an issue for the bike and also said the clutch and belts get check at 30 000 kms nie I get told At 9000km THE CLUCH NEEDS TO BE REPLACED I also mentioned to both dealers at the 500km service and other services that there is a shudder when pulling away and they said it's nothing.

After my last bad experience with big boy when my exhaust broke and they refused to replace i gave up and just paid cash for the exhaust. Not even two months later same thing the brand new exhaust is broken. Spoke to big boy and showed them the proof of payment and what did they say sorry we cant help. *** is it with this company. How can a brand new exhaust break in less than two months and yet again u refuse to replace. Now the new excuse is did i service my bike on time did u make sure the clutch and rolers was maintained. My F#CK DO THEY THINK I AM STUPID. Maintenance of a clutch and servicing of a bike has nothing to do with the fact that the heatshield broke off and left a huge hole in the ****ler. Just because they a dealership doesnt give them the right to talk **** to there clients and think the client is dumb. Its commen sense the parts they supplying is of **** quality but they selling it at expensive prices. I have reported big boy to the ombudsman so lets see what happens now. DONT SUPPORT BIG BOY. OUR LIFE IS WORTH MORE THAT THE **** THEY SELLING. THE QUALITY IF THERE BIKES IS LIKE A DEATH TRAP ON WHEELS.

The ****test service ever. Refuses to replace a scooter exhaust after the second one also broke. U pay a **** load of money cash but when stuff break over and over all sorts if excused pops up not to replace. Now im without transport but big boy head office already enjoyed my money and i am stranded. They want to act clever on email and over the phone but dont experience the frustration the client has ti deal with broken parts over and over on a daily basis. At this point i just had enough of **** SERVICE. They happy to take your money but unhappy to sort the **** out they selling to customers.

I bought a brand new a big boy scooter from the dealership in Roodeport. a month later it had a problem and it wasn’t clear if it’s the factory or the drivers fault. I just wish to write this review to thank David there for handling the matter properly and I did not pay a cent to have it fixed.

Very unprofessional , I bought a bike from JP From day one after i payed the bike cash , i had to follow up the whole time and when he gave me feedback after nagging he told me the bike is already in for PDI ( last week)that was a lie when i collected the bike on friday just before 16:00 there w/shop was busy with PDI , ( i had to wait outside not even invited in .) i also ask him how did they do the Lic & Reg on the bike because i never sign anywhere then he started swearing at me , my question to him was do you talk to all your clien’t like this ?,i only send him my docs . My question to him was is that not ***** ?? And the bike was not even cleaned , i had to wash the bike at my house . Never ever again will i do business with this company but you can see according to some of there reviews that there is a problem !! No
