I want to report serious billing and account issues with Rain. I have paid twice this month, and I also made a payment in September. Despite this, my account now shows that I owe over R6,000, and I keep receiving SMS messages demanding payments.
I have been demanded to pay R925 and even R995 each month, and I do not know who changed my subscription because I originally signed up for R625. These changes were made without my knowledge or consent.
When I contacted support, I was told I hadn’t made any payments until I provided proof of payment which clearly shows that Rain is not updating payments correctly, yet they continue increasing the subscription and billing me incorrectly.
I used to enjoy Rain and believed it was the best WiFi I ever used, but this experience has left me extremely frustrated. Today I have been on calls the whole day, and I am still without WiFi.
I am requesting Rain to urgently investigate my account, reverse the unauthorised changes, correct the billing errors, and remove the incorrect outstanding balance.
