I purchased an Antminer S9 from Bitmart. and within a month the machine is broken.
I attempted to deal with their repairs department as the machine supposedly carries a 6 month warranty. I was told that I could only speak to their repair technician on the phone on Fridays. After speaking to the technician he was unable to help. and told me that if I wanted to claim anything under my warranty that I should deal directly with their supplier from China.
The reason I purchased this machine from a South African company at a much higher price than I could get it directly from China is so that in the event of an issue like this I would have somebody local to support me but my experience has been very disappointing.
If you want to buy one of these machines there is no reason to use this company - buy direct from China.

As discussed with you over the telephone and in writing, please refer to the warranty conditions on our website regarding Bitmain products. Bitmart in the terms and conditions you accepted DOES NOT CARRY THE WARRANTY on behalf of Bitmain. You Agreed to this when you ordered the machine. The Reason we cant send the machine to China under our export licence is Chinese customs have picked up that Bitmart is an importer of the miners and the required undervalued declaration needed by Bitmain of $42usd per miner sent back is seen by Chinese customs as a miss declaration and they then fine Bitmain for it which they refuse to pay then the miner gets discarded. This is nothing within the control of Bitmart. We told you we can help you with the process to get the miner to China but it MUST be done under your SA ID number and Through Fedex or DHL so they can assist you with a repair and return order as a RSA Citizen. The Chances of the rig then ending up as s**** metal somewhere on a Chinese dump is far less as DHL uses bonded warehouses to achieve this.
So If you need help with the process we are more than willing to help. You will, in any case, have to pay for the shipping back to China of the replacement goods under Bitmain Warranty conditions as stipulated in their terms and conditions. I Invite you to call me and discuss the matter with me personally if you would like to resolve it.
