Selling Broken Cars
Avoid at all costs, please do not make the worst mistake of your life by buying a car from bloemfontein motors you will be disappointed.
I bought a Bmw x5 just about over two months ago. From day one it was a disappointment.
The rubbers of the car doors were brittle and broken. The Aircon light almost never worked. The interior panels had scratches and small dents you could not see on the photos. The first time I drove the car on the long road the top up coolent message came up. Which I did and reset and not to long after that the message came up again and kept coming up I phoned BFN motors they told me to take the car to a workshop which I did. It turns out the EGR went and it also had other issues as well. No its costing me R17 000 to just get the first issue fixed. Even though I told BFN motors this was not acceptable as they supposedly serviced the car how could they not pick this up now I need to pay R17 000 for a repair on a car that was sold to me as a dud. I asked them to atleast pay for the repair but they couldn’t even do that.
BFN motors apparently serviced the car before i got the car yet they didn’t pick up anything. The price of the car was also way overpriced especially considering the issues the car has.
Do not do business with them because you will be left disappointed.

Even though I told BFN motors this was not acceptable as they supposedly serviced the car how could they not pick this up now I need to pay R17 000 for a repair on a car that was sold to me as a dud. I asked them to atleast pay for the repair but they couldn’t even do that.
The work shop said that there was another error this being a problem with the ESC (Electronic Stability Controll.) The mechanic said this was most likely cleared before I bought the car.

I have spoken to my Attorney and I have the right to request a refund as this is not wear and tear, the EGR was not my fault is was never right to begin with as the very first time the car was driven on the long toad this happened, the ESC was also not disclosed as this warning was cleared. Who knows what other damage is being hidden. And in the end I drove on vacation with the car that had 2 errors the first could have left me stranded who knows where and secondly what bothers me even more is that the workshop picked up the ESC problem and that it would have been cleared most likely before I got the car. This means I drove on vacation thinking the car is safe and that the stability control is working meanwhile it was not. Something could have happened to me because the car was not in safe road worthy shape I could have ended up in and. Accident or even worse a fatal crash.
I have the right to return the car and seek my refund and that is exactly what I want. So i expect toy to go fetch the car as I will not be driving in that car again with who knows what other unknown issues there might be. And to then refund me what you owe me this week still.
And to Bloemfontein Motors this is not A DEBATE THIS IS NOTA CONVERSATION THIS IS THE TRUTH Im also not another person where you are going to reply to me with a rude and attacking attitude like you did on the other negative reviews because YOU ARE WRONG your not even going to try and pin the blame on me. Because the previous people also complained about similar issues and you rather attacked their reviews trying to discredit them. You sold me a broken dud car finish of story and now you dont want to take responsibility for your dishonesty. You sold the car to me under the conditions that it had no issues yet there was it is your mistake and your responsibility.
