Booked my car in for a brake fluid service and check a error regarding coolant level low which was intermittent,nobody is friendly at this dealership the manager Sergio is the worst,doesn't even greet customers,anyway we receive a call and a quote of 75k we scrutinise the quote now this is the same dealership that changed a water pump for the same car a year ago,so the service advisor Gerti and the person who booked the car in was informed that the water pump was replaced a year ago,Gerti quotes is for another water pump when asked why the water pump needs to be changed she does not know what to say so she provides me with dishonest information,stating that there is two pumps for the same component and th second water pump needs to be changed,I called a friend at another BMW dealership and he informed me that Gerti was talking bull to me as the other pump is an auxi****y pump and has to do with the turbo,I called Gerti back ,I was even told by my friend that they can do a warranty claim on the pump within 2 years,so I asked Gerti why she was quoting on the pump she then changed her tune and stated ok they could do a warranty claim,this is dishonest.When the vehicle was finally ready I collected on Saturday and requested a valuation as I wanted to trade the vehicle in,Jan their used car manager was evaluating the vehicle he opened the bonnet and I noticed scratch marks that were not there when the vehicle was booked in,I reported it to Francois immediately,I was promised a call on Monday,I called Monday and was told that I need to bring the car in again so Sergio could inspect I refused and stated they must çome to us we are not going to be inconvenienced,Sergio was rude to me,he then brought one of his guys and came to my house they removed all scratches and there was a deep scratch on the fuse box so he says that they didn't touch that so they can't do anything there,but I am sure these guys wiped these covers down and scratched it,pathetic service and forgot to mention that Gerti was rude and even cut me off and never allow me to speak,I have requested the cell number for the dealer principal as he is never at the dealership,Cornette the customer relations manager stated she listened to all the calls between Gerti and myself and confirmed she was rude but no action was taken against her,no wonder there is so many complaints about this dealership,BMW SA so something soon before you loose your customers because of this pathetic dealership and staff especially Gerti and Sergio... I have requested the dealer principals cell number which I am told they cannot give out,does they realise that he is not the president of the country he needs customers to make money and yet he refuses to speak to customers.Please have a look at your reviews on Google for BMW Jhb South and you will see lots of customers are also complaining about the service received from this particular dealership.
