We booked in at boardwalk hotel the 16th.We were greeted by an unfriendly reception staff even though it's not our 1st time here. She did not give us breakfast times or where to take the lift to go to room 130.We settled in then when we opened the fridge it could not close and I had to store my insulin in the fridge we were then moved to room 305 which is a mile away from the lift and i'm also a cardiac patient. Then room 305 the sliding was not easy to close as it gets stuck on the rail.To my dismay the bed was at the worst quality as when I wake up in the morning my back is so flippin sore I even went for a back massage. The 18th morning I advised the guy at reception he said he was going to report it.The night I phoned housekeeping the lady came to the room and checked the bed then she said she will report it to Reception as there were no spare mattresses but there was unoccupied rooms could she not organised a mattress to make out stay comfortable. Then reception said they will report it to the morning reception staff,to my dismay I asked day reception and they were clueless of and complaints regarding the mattress. And the other worse thing is nobody advise us about the people working and building my word I'm on holiday and to be woken up so early with the noise they making in the morning.Serious the only person really taking care of us was Sibongile Dodo at breakfast.I don't think Boardwalk is a 5star hotel no more service and hotel deteriorated very much. I'm here till 21st Monday and will have to endure your bad quality of your bed.
