I am extremely disappointed with the way my funeral policy claim has been handled. Despite having a valid policy and submitting all required documents, I have yet to receive payment. This delay has placed an unnecessary emotional and financial burden on me and my family during an already difficult time.
What has made this experience even more frustrating is the unprofessional conduct of the manager assigned to my case, Ayanda Mahlangu. She is often unavailable, frequently on leave, and does not respond to emails or call back after messages have been left for her. I’ve had to constantly follow up just to get basic updates, with no urgency or empathy shown.
The lack of communication, compassion, and accountability is completely unacceptable for a service that is supposed to offer peace of mind during times of loss. I expected better and more respectful treatment. I strongly urge the company to take this matter seriously, finalize the payment urgently, and review the service conduct of their staff — especially in such sensitive matters.
